Are you ready to book some demos?

The sections guide you with tasks, detailed content, videos, and interactive tours to make your journey fun and efficient! Let's start:

1. Setup your Demodesk Account

It might not be too exciting but the setup is a key step for a successful Demodesk experience.

Task 1: Connect your Google/Outlook account

Why?

Location

You can schedule meetings, send out calendar invites, and email invites from Demodesk. In order to ensure everything works as intended, connect your account.

Task 2: Connect your CRM

Important: If you do not work with Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Hubspot, or if your team does not yet work with the Integration, skip this task.

Why?

Location

With our CRM integrations, you can make sure that the CRM is always up to date and that all customer interactions are logged.

Task 3: Update your profile

Why?

Location

The profile information is used in the emails and calendar invites sent from Demodesk (especially in the email signature). Moreover, we recommend uploading a profile picture. This will show up if the customer schedules a call and enters a meeting.

Task 4: Check your Meeting Type default setup

What's a Meeting type? Meeting Types are templates for the different kinds of meetings you are hosting. The Meeting type is connected to a standardised calendar invitation, a standardised email invitation, reminder emails, and a booking link (a link that allows the customer to book a call on their own). If you would like to learn more of the Demodesk lingo check out our glossary.

Why?

Location

When you schedule a meeting in Demodesk, the default meeting type is automatically chosen unless another is selected manually.

2. How to schedule a Demodesk meeting

Within this section, we will outline two ways on how to schedule a Demodesk Meeting. You will learn in which case the one or the other way of scheduling makes sense.

⚠️ Precondition: In order to schedule Meetings via Demodesk you need to connect your Google/Outlook account (see section 1, task 1)

1. Schedule a meeting via the Demodesk Scheduler

Use case

Resources

You want to schedule a Demo with a customer while talking to him on the phone or texting with him via mail? The scheduling functionality in Demodesk is powerful. It is the perfect place for SDRs to book Demos for Account Executives.

If you use HubSpot or Salesforce as a CRM you can directly schedule out of the CRM:

2. Schedule a meeting via a Demodesk booking link

Use case

Resources

You are exhausted from the back and forth needed to schedule an appointment with a customer or prospect? Booking links allow your customers and prospects to pick a date and time in your calendar and schedule a meeting with your team.

3. How to start a Demodesk meeting

Once you've successfully scheduled a Demodesk meeting, the subsequent step is to fully execute your playbook to meet the objective of the planned meeting.

To begin the meeting, click the "Open" button next to the meeting entry on the Demodesk dashboard (indicated by the red highlight below). Alternatively, you can join the meeting using the provided meeting link, which is available through the "Copy Link" button as well as in all emails and calendar events associated with this meeting.

In addition, if you wish to start a meeting without prior scheduling, you can utilise the "Start Instant Meeting" button, as shown below:
