The Demodesk Slack integration delivers AI-generated summaries, scorecards, deal insights, and CRM updates straight into the channels your team already monitors. No manual copy-paste work, no chasing updates, no "can you send me that summary?

What you can do with the Slack integration
There are three ways to put Slack to work:
1. Automation notifications
Add Slack as a destination on your AI automations. Every time a rule fires, for example, when a summary is generated for a Sales team meeting, Demodesk automatically posts the result to the channels you've picked.
2. Ask in chat
Just ask the Demodesk AI to read from or post to Slack. "Post the key findings from this meeting to #sales, and it's done.
3. AI agents
Build an agent that uses Slack as part of its job. Run it on a schedule ("every morning, summarize yesterday's meetings and post to #leadership"), route messages conditionally, or define your own custom message format.

Step 1 of 2: Connect Slack
Connecting links your Slack workspace to Demodesk. You can do it in two places, whichever you reach first:
1. From Settings
Go to Settings → Integrations → Connections, find Slack under Messaging & Collaboration, and click Connect. You will be redirected to Slack
Approve the installation for your workspace and return to Demodesk. After the connection is successful, the connected Slack workspace will appear in your Demodesk settings.
2. From any automation
Step 2 of 2: Add Slack notifications to an automation
Open your automation and hover over a rule.
Click Add notification. (New rules need to be saved first.)
Choose where the output should go:
Want more control? Choose AI agent to open the agent builder with a ready-made prompt. This is perfect for conditional routing ("deals over €50k go to #big-deals") or a fully custom message format.
Notifications are configured per rule, so different rules in the same automation can post to different channels. Your Sales summaries can go to #sales while your CS handovers land in #customer-success.
Using private channels
Private channels stay private. Demodesk can only post to them once you've invited the app. If a private channel doesn't show up in search, you'll see a "Channel not found". Invite @Demodesk to the channel in Slack first, then search again.
Troubleshooting
Posts stopped appearing in a channel? The channel may have been archived, or the Demodesk app was removed from it. Re-add the destination on your automation rule.
Seeing a "Reconnect Slack" button? Your workspace connection expired or was revoked. Click it to re-authorize. Your configured notifications stay in place and resume automatically.
Hitting an error while connecting? Your Slack workspace may require admin approval for new apps. Ask your Slack admin to approve Demodesk, then try again.

Automation notifications only post to Slack. Reading Slack content only happens when you explicitly ask the AI to do so in chat or configure an agent for it.
