The scheduling view in Demodesk will closely resemble scheduling meetings in your calendar: White spaces mark the available times for booking, gray spaces refer to blocked time slots.
If your event has buffer times associated with it, they will appear as blue-white striped borders before and/or after the event.
In the left sidebar, you can choose the Event Type for your meeting. It will also determine which Playbook will be preloaded in your meeting.
Depending on whether you enabled flexible or strict round-robin in the Event Type, you will be able to select one person as the host directly (flexible), or only allow Demodesk to pick the host based on team members’ availabilities (strict) to ensure a fair distribution of meetings.
Pro tip: here you can also add a team member. Click on or choose a team member and afterward your cumulative availability will be shown.
You can overbook slots for a selected person by toggling off Only show available times in the bottom right corner.
If you selected a time slot, a window will open up where you can adjust all the details. In the beginning, everything will be filled out according to the Event Type.
Here is how you can modify your settings:
Change the name of the meeting at the very top. Use Tokens to personalize it automatically.
To change the Playbook, simply click on the name of your current Playbook and choose the one you would like to have instead.
Add your guests. You will need their email, first and last name.
Lastly, choose whether you want to send out email and calendar invites. They can also be changed by clicking on edit.
Adding CC and BCC recipients is possible. To do so, fill in their email addresses in the respective fields.
Click on Schedule meeting and you are done!
