Zoom Notetaker integration

A quick guide to connect your Zoom account so Demodesk can automatically join your Zoom meetings as a Notetaker.

In this guide we will cover:

Installation

  1. Login into your Demodesk account and go to your Connections page.

  2. Scroll down to the Video conferencing section

  3. Click Connect next to Zoom.

  4. On the authorization screen, grant Demodesk permission to access your Zoom account by clicking Allow.

  5. That’s it! Your Zoom account is now connected ✅

Usage

Demodesk uses your connected calendar to detect Zoom meetings and send the Notetaker bot based on your import settings.

To ensure everything works smoothly:

  • Make sure your calendar is connected and the Zoom integration is installed.

  • Schedule a calendar event with a valid Zoom link in the location field (as you would when inviting a customer).

  • Alternatively, you can manually add a Zoom meeting by copying and pasting the invite link into Demodesk.

That's it! 🎉 Demodesk will handle the rest, and the Notetaker will automatically join the meeting at the start time. The resulting recording will be automatically be transcribed and saved to your Demodesk dashboard.

Uninstallation

  1. Login into your Demodesk account and go to your Connections page.

  2. Scroll down to the Video conferencing section and click Disconnect.
