If you open a Demodesk meeting link, the first thing you will need to enter is your name.
The Demodesk screen share will always work, but in order to speak with your meeting host, you will also need to connect with one of our audio options.
Join the audio via computer
Once you entered your name, we will ask you how you want to communicate with the host of the meeting.
If your computer has a working microphone and speakers, you can join the audio conference via your computer. We recommend the latest version of Chrome to do so, but other browsers work as well. Click on the left button on the screen above and allow microphone access once the browser will prompt you for it:
As a short notice that everything worked fine, you should hear a jingle once connected to the audio. To test the connection, you can always click on the phone button on the top left corner of the Demodesk window to open the audio options:
If you accidentally clicked away the allow button for the microphone, you can always check your browser settings by clicking on the padlock in your addressbar while on Demodesk.
Via Microphone you can allow access to your microphone and Sound sets which microphone and speaker should be used.
Join the audio conference via your phone
If you are having troubles to dial in via computer due to slow connections or if you don't have a microphone at hand, you can also use your phone to call the Demodesk number and join the audio this way:
When asked how you want to connect, just choose Join with your phone. In a new popup we will display the number you can call according to the country you are currently in. You can always select a different country if necessary via change country.
During the meeting you can change the dial-in options at any point. Just click on the phone icon on the top left of the screen to display the different options.
