While It might not be too exciting, but a proper setup is a key step for a successful Demodesk experience. Therefore, it's crucial to ensure the completion of the initial four setup tasks before proceeding with your first Demos.
Step 1: Connect your Google/Outlook account
The initial step entails linking your email account, which enables synchronization of your calendar, email invitations, and various other functions.

Step 2: Connect your CRM
The subsequent step is to establish a connection to your CRM in order to monitor your meetings an keep a record of your meetings effectively. Important: If you do not work with Salesforce, Pipedrive, or HubSpot, or if your team does not yet work with the Integration, skip this task.

Step 3: Update your profile
The final configuration stage entails creating your account profile, which is visible when customers schedule a meeting with you.

The profile information is used in the emails and calendar invites send from Demodesk (especially in the email signature). Moreover, we recommend uploading a profile picture. This will show up if the customer schedules a call and enters a meeting. |
Step 4: Check your Playbook & Meeting Type default setup
βΉοΈ What's a Playbook? A Playbook is a ready-made structure for your meetings that is prepared once and can be used as a template for all Demodesk meetings. This makes meetings consistent and repeatable since and your team are able to use shared templates.
βΉοΈ What's a Meeting type? Meeting Types are templates for the different kinds of Meetings you are hosting. The Meeting type is connected to a playbook, a standardized calendar invitation, a standardized email invitation, reminder emails, and a booking link (a link that allows the customer to book a call on your calendar).

π How to schedule a Demodesk meeting
There are several ways to schedule a Demodesk Meeting. Within this section, we will outline the three most common ways to do so. You will learn in which case the one or the other way of scheduling makes sense.

Option 1: Schedule a meeting via Demodesk
π You're ready to roll! You can now schedule your first meeting using Demodesk. The first approach available is using the Demodesk Scheduler.
